  • Get the names, addresses and phone numbers of anyone that saw the accident.
  • Visit the hospital by ambulance if seriously injured.
  • Visit your family physician promptly. If you do not get medical treatment you are not hurt.
  • Have someone take pictures showing what caused you to be injured.
  • Take pictures of your injuries, of yourself in the hospital, of you on crutches and as you recover.
  • Be sure to take at least one picture of your face and the part of your body injured.
